BAJAJ AUTO'S SALES GREW 9% IN MARCH
In March, Bajaj Auto 's sales rose 9 percent to 3.36 million vehicles. The company sold 3.08 million vehicles in March last year.
However, months - to - month basis in March, Bajaj Auto sales have plummeted. In February, the company sold 3.45 lakh cars.
Bajaj Auto's exports in March rose 54 per cent. Close to 70,000 units in March compared to February, the company has exported 1.07 lakh units.
Bajaj Auto's motorcycle sales in March, 10 per cent and 4 per cent increase in sales of commercial vehicles.
Bajaj Auto MD Rajiv Bajaj says that sales are not expected to be much higher.
However, fiscal year 2013, Bajaj Auto expects to sell 5 million vehicles. According to Rajiv Bajaj, the company's fiscal year 2013 remain at 20 per cent margin.
